The Ahimsa Fellowship trains passionate individuals to become skilled animal protection professionals, driving systemic change through policy, advocacy, and reforms. Over eight months, fellows work with policymakers, law enforcement, and industry leaders to create lasting impact in animal welfare.

At PFA PPF, we empower key government stakeholders—judicial officers, law enforcement, veterinary departments, pollution control boards, and public prosecutors—through targeted capacity-building programs. By strengthening their understanding of animal welfare laws, we ensure they can handle animal-related cases effectively and compassionately, fostering a more informed and responsive approach to animal protection.
Government Collaboration: Strengthening Animal Welfare Through Government Partnerships
PFA PPF collaborates with key organizations like the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and municipal bodies to provide safe housing for rescued animals. We also manage the infirmary at SPCA Rudraprayag, focusing on rehabilitating abused equines, especially those rescued from the Kedarnath Yatra track. Through these partnerships, we strive to expand our impact on animal welfare across multiple regions.
